Neve Paritzki Israel Reliably Breaks Records in Tourism Entry Numbers United States

NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022/PRNewswire The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 Americans during July 2022. It was a 4 percent increase over the year before seven thousand tourists from America visited Israel in August 2022.

Eyal Carlin from North America was the Tourism Commissioner. "The United States has been the most important source of tourism for Israel inbound. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak we had record numbers of Israel's tourism entry each month.

Canada is set to beat Israel's tourism arrivals 7200 tourists are expected to visit Israel in the month of July 2022 and 6,600 tourists in August.

Israel received more than 4.6 million tourists from abroad in 2019 and this included 969.600 of them coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all travelers, regardless if they are vaccinated. It has already hosted over 600,000.
